It just sits at a black screen and he has to hard reset the computer. This is the only game he has had any issue with. I've tried running every stability test I can think of and

Feb 6, 2020 · And Red Dead Redemption 2 has a higher recommended PC settings than Far Cry 5. Also, my PC surpasses the recommended PC settings for Far Cry 5. This issue ONLY happens on Far Cry 5 (It also happened to a lesser degree with Far Cry 3). There's something about the way they configure the Far Cry Series that my computer has a problem with.

The Far Cry 5 editor was randomly crashing (Steam) and I noticed that the Arcade Editor was using the integrated graphics even though I selected the Nvidia card in Nvidia Control Panel. I located xml profile files at Documents > My Games > Far Cry 5. They were called: editorgamerprofile and gamer profile. I opened them first with Microsoft Edge

We should apparently be able to continue from the last save as if the ending hasn't yet happened, and that being stuck in the "ending loop" is a bug: Sorry to hear that you've encountered this issue. After you finish the game, you should be able to continue exploring from your last save. The team is working on a solution and this problem
